Number 18: Bride of the Reanimator Source: Amazon If you haven’t seen the original it’s about a guy who discovers the secret to reanimating the dead—a retelling of Frankenstein. The sequel is about him creating a “perfect” woman by (you guessed it) stitching together other dead people’s body parts. I think the scariest thing about this movie is not the zombies the doctor creates, but the creator himself. It’s hard to tell if he’s just super practical and selfish or just a complete psychopath. He’s definitely got the visions of grandeur part checked off and his manipulation skills are record high. It’s almost frightening how he seems to know exactly what to say to people to get what he wants. Oh, and that wrathful glare. Still, it’s fun to watch him intellectualize everything. I enjoyed the puppet magic and the costume design. If you like campy B horror movies you’ll fancy this one. Overall it was a great homage to Mary Shelley’s work. P.S. It made me scared of doctors. #BrideOfTheReanimator #Reanimator #Movies #Riverview #Halloween #HalloweenMovies #ScaryMovies #FilmReview #Film #Zombies #Frankenstein https://www.instagram.com/p/B3vsSfMACD2/?igshid=1uub6jsog5gxg
