Of all the bridges I've seen with the locks collecting on them, the train bridge in Cologne, Germany had the most by far. Locks upon locks. Locks locked to locks. Locks locked to the lock locked to the lock. Much of it you can't see the railing for the locks. But it does make for a sparkling array of colors with the variety on display. Since this is from 2018, I don't know if the locks are all still there or like so many other places they have been cut off (because they simply start getting too heavy). But back then it was quite the display. It's a great way to cross the river to visit the Cologne Cathedral you can partially see in the background. It was a wonderful stop on our European vacation and I would love to visit Cologne again. .
