More Bridgemaster "incorrect but working" plays. The false play goes as follows: cash all tricks (cashing hearts from low) until only spades are left. Then take the finesse. The finesse will always succeed. This seems to be because Bridgemaster will flip the finesse to "succeeding" after the queen drops in hearts (committing itself to 4-2 layout), but one does not actually have to do the avoidance play in hearts to benefit from the finesse; if one opts to not do it at all they can afford to have an extra spade loser.

I found another line which "succeeds", but it seems that it shouldn't; rather, defenders improperly give me a ruff and slough that eliminates a diamond loser for me. The line goes as follows: win in the dummy and immediately ruff the last club (voiding both hands of clubs). Immediately duck a diamond trick. At this point, Bridgemaster leads back a club, but this is incorrect; they should lead back a spade. The intended next line is to draw two trump, and then cash the A and the K (preparing to ruff the diamond loser on the queen of hearts.) This line succeeds when the remaining trump is not in a hand that 3 or less diamonds; but in that case the straightforward line would have worked anyway.

One of the best videos I have watched. It gave me crazy goosebumps. Something to think about, especially since Easter just ended.
