Last spring, I couldn’t have ever imagined that less than a year after I started dancing that I would close out Bridge NorCal with my closest friends and family. Dance was an adventure I thought I’d never begin but am so glad I did. The long practices late at night were so draining, both physically and emotionally. There were times where I wondered why I was even there, why I was pouring so much time and energy into dance, but seeing us on stage together and fucking killing it made every cold and sweaty night in a parking lot worth it. You guys gave me a reason to live and a family to always come back to. After so many socially awkward, anxious years, I’m finally comfortable in my own skin. I never knew how badly I needed this in my life until you guys gave it to me.
