it’s time for MERMAY 2021!!! of course I had to start with Ariel - I’m trying out this new style, very much influenced by japanese prints, and I’m really liking how it makes the backgrounds look. I probably won’t be doing pictures for every day of MerMay - I’m still super busy with work, and I don’t have much free time, but I have a few pieces ready for posting over the next week or so :)

I didn’t participate in the Mermay fully this year, but I’ve been skribbling mermaids whenever I had free time and wanted to just draw something. These ones were done after the all-nighters, while I was tired and in kind of dazed state. So, the merms are wonky, for sure. I actually drew them because I wanted to use some colourful brush-pens, which I had for years and barely used them...

Story Idea!!!

I think I just came up with another Spideypool fanfic that I need to write. And this one I think I’ll actually write, cause I want it so damn bad.

Mermaid AU (no powers)

but instead of plain tails that just very in shape, color and size what if they were fish tails. I know that sounds what mermaid tails are but I’m talking about like a shark tail or a dolphin tail or a clownfish tail.

So, Wade Wilson, a Great White Shark. With like a damaged fin and scars on his tail along with his scars on his upper body. And he nobody ever bothers him cause there’s rumors that he was caught by humans. And that’s where he got his scars. (But that’s just rumor to the other fish people)

And, Peter Parker, a butterfly koi or a butterfly goldfish. With big butterfly tail fins and the spotted coloring of orange-red and blue so dark it’s practically black. And he lives away from his aunt but still visits her and his parents and uncle were killed by humans, so understands how they hurt Wade.

And Wade just so enamored with this precious, gorgeous fish and being all insecure and whatnot, but Peter thinking he’s beautiful and handsome in a dangerous way that he can’t help but wanting to know more of the damage and heal him to the best of his abilities. And Peter’s fins being soft and flowey so they don’t hurt Wade’s skin, instead they’re a soft comforting blanket.

And oh my god, I could go on and on with this idea. I’m doomed. I should stop here lest I spoil my entire plot idea for the story. And I can’t seem to commit to a long story so I’d have to shorten it.

I already have written one-shots and I’m working on Finding Family, a long Stucky and Peter fanfic that I need to finish chapter 9 but I have this idea and... ahhh!! I want them all to just be written already!!

Sorry, I’m rambling.
