can you BELIEVE!?!?!? this CAST!?!?!? obviously I love Misha, Melissa, and Karan with my whole heart and can't wait to hear more of what they've done this season (what I've heard so far has me flopping on the ground like a fish) but holy SHIT, Alan Tudyk and Tricia Helfer??? are you KIDDING me?!?

I was a very nerdy (read: lonely) teen and spent HOURS watching and rewatching Firefly and Battlestar Galactica, two of my favorite sci-fi shows of all time. to have these two actors saying words that I wrote is a dream come true!!!!

MISHA COLLINS IS

Jeremy Bradshaw - 45, serious-minded academic. After his father mysteriously disappeared when he was just 5 years old, Jeremy’s life was shattered. He became obsessed with researching the occult and ultimately dedicated his life to the study of folklore and legends. The macabre and bizarre are purely academic pursuits for him — he doesn’t believe in ghosts, but instead believes in the power that ghost stories can have over people. His skepticism has worn away at any lingering questions he had about his father’s disappearance. That is, until a new piece of evidence surfaces, throwing everything into a new light and dredging up old demons, both personal and, possibly, literal.

After spending over a decade playing Castiel on Supernatural, Misha is not only the lead, but also an Executive Producer on Bridgewater. He also has a book of poetry coming out in October that you can pre-order now!

MELISSA PONZIO IS

Detective Anne Becker - 70s, worn-down retired detective who balances cynicism and belief in the supernatural on a knife’s edge. Becker was thirty when Lieutenant Bradshaw, went missing. The rest of the force was convinced the cult that Bradshaw had been investigating was responsible for his disappearance and likely death but Bradshaw thought it was more complicated than that. The case eventually fell apart — the cult slipped through the police’s fingers and Becker couldn’t get anyone to entertain any other theories. She never quite got past this first case — the specter of the failure and her insistence that the force was getting too caught up in the “Satanic panic” narrative preventing her from achieving the success of which she was capable.

Melissa is best known for her role as the hard-working and devoted single mother on the hit MTV series, Teen Wolf. Other notable television appearances include recurring roles on Cinemax's Banshee, and Lifetime's Army Wives, as well as guest appearances on The Following, Touch, NCIS, Necessary Roughness, Franklin & Bash, Drop Dead Diva, CSI and the Vampire Diaries.

KARAN SONI IS

Vipin Khurana - 25, an enthusiastic teacher’s assistant who has an eager belief in the supernatural that gets in the way of the objectivity Jeremy wants from him. Vipin is a graduate student in anthropology at the university. He looks up to Jeremy, hoping to one day follow in his footsteps, but is less of a skeptic than Jeremy. His interest in the supernatural is part academic and part the desire to someday witness something that truly defies description.

Karan made his feature film debut in Safety Not Guaranteed, which was followed by lead appearances on the series Betas and Other Space. Karan is Dopinder in Deadpool and stars alongside Daniel Radcliffe in Miracle Workers.
