Sweet moments w Bridges (at our wedding)
1) being able to say “FUCK YOU!” to all of the traditions together💋 we still checked a ton of boxes: outdoor/woodsy ceremony, outdoor ceremony, removal of severe stress, my name change and health benefits, gorgeous dress, fairy tale wedding pictures, lemon raspberry cake, barefoot dancing, a magical night with my husband, we didn’t exclude anyone, everyone had a good time and no one had anything bad to say, etc.
2) having a non-denominational, non-traditional, unconventional ceremony, performed by the amazing Craig from Craigslist! (Not joking, we highly recommend him!)
3) Bridges telling me I was beautiful in my dark green ceremony dress and twists
4) Bridges wanted to wait until the day of to see me in my huge, ivory, princess wedding dress ~ his face when he saw me for the first time, even though he was stressed out, was priceless
5) Bridges gave me a piggy back ride to get from location to location whilst traipsing around the property taking the most amazing pictures with the best photographer ever, Anne (highly recommend her too!)
6) getting through the chaos of our families together, sharing looks like we were in the office
7) watching my husband sing Ho Ro! I am so grateful for his outgoing personality❤️ (although I did have to hop in and cover for him at times haha)
8) Bridges pulled me aside to slow dance in the far grass as the last of the tables were being stacked up, the lights twinkled in the night sky as I listened to his heartbeat and promises of a wonderful life; I returned the promises as the chatter of our families floated across the night air to our private barefoot dance floor; looking into his eyes and seeing our future, believing every word, and loving every atom of the man standing before me, cradling me in his arms, and promising me the whole world✨
9) sitting around the fire afterwards, having good conversation with good company, and holding hands with my husband
10) riding away from the party in the back of my new father-in-law’s Jeep with our hands thrown up into the wind, howling like the wolves that we are
11) Bridges picking me up in my wedding dress and crossing the threshold into our honeymoon cabin in the woods
12) enjoying our honeymoon suite and the privacy that came with it; enjoying the living room bathtub and huge three point shower
13) our couples massage ~ it was Bridges’ FIRST professional massage and he loved it😘
14) husband and wife sex💋
15) feeling so incredibly lucky and happy and secure in my choices and my life with Bridges; not being able to imagine living life without him, and knowing I can always depend on my husband; he will always be there for me, and I for him♥️
