My old roommate is setting me up with her new roommate! lol. I’m like, 99.999% sure its a date. Because she was like “I think you guys would really get along...” and then set up a time for me and him to go out for drinks soooooo. And hes a nerd apparently too. We’ve just been texting about nerd stuff.

BREAKFAST half a breakfast burrito with beans, corn, chicken, and half an egg. LUNCH Lettuce with miso dressing and one cheese stick shredded DINNER Bowl of Cheerios cereal with low fat milk SNACK 1 cup frozen blueberries OTHER a couple glasses of wine

Back from Atlanta. Had to drop everything for this business trip. Trying to get back into the swing of things! BREAKFAST yogurt cup low fat, with granola SNACK banana LUNCH chicken breast, grilled bell pepper, flour tortilla DINNER bread roll and hummus DRINKS 1 beer 1 cocktail
Food Diary – Saturday 4/18/15
Breakfast: Bagel with hummus
Snack: Banana
Lunch: Slice of ultra thin vegan pizza with tomatoes and basil
Dinner: 2 small chicken tacos (chicken, corn tortillas, lettuce, salt/pepper)
Dessert/Snack: granola with a little plain greek yogurt
Got my appetite back a little bit today! Tried to make good choices.

Playing catch up still, I may just do this one and then do two tomorrow. This is for the #bodyandmindchallenge. Is just as important to take care of your mind as it is your body!
DAY EIGHT SELF CARE: “Share one thing you’re very good at.” I’m very good at research. If I really want to get to the bottom of something, I’m good at knowing the right combination of keywords and Google short-cuts to get exactly what I’m thinking for. I’ve found half-remembered quotes that were paraphrased in books I didn’t remember the name of.
DAY EIGHT BODY CARE: “Extended puppy pose: The pose can be therapeutic for stress and anxiety, as well as chronic tension and insomnia. As a mild inversion, with the heart slightly higher than the head, Extended Puppy can help bring a sense of calm back into the body.” My dog was definitely enjoying my face being near to the ground lol. This pose is really good to just settle into. Sometimes I get really discouraged when I feel like I can’t really do the pose correctly and I end up doing a close approximation if it. So I always get a thrill when theres a pose that you can benefit from, and that is simple and easy to do!
