"CHEESE IN THE TRAP" One of my top 3 fav webtoons. Though it's in romance genre, the story isnt all about romance (dan bukan romance menye2 yg kebanyakan ada di webtoon indo). It's more complicated than that. To understand the whole plot, the readers have to analyze each caracters' personality, how they think & act and also connect all clues in flashback scenes to solve the mystery. But that's what I like about this webtoon coz I have to use my brain to understand the story. And I also feel so related to Seol, an eldest daughter, introvert, strict to the rule, uselessly overthingking (yg kadang justru buat hidup sendiri makin ribet), tend to analyze everyhing. Sometimes when I saw how Seol react to all her problems, I would comment "C'mon Seol, you're just think too much" But then I realized that I'm like her and can understand her feeling. This is not a simple webtoon that I can finish in one sitting but it's a webtoon that can heal my soul when my real life sucked me up. #briefreview #webtoon #citt

Hotel King (A Brief Review)

So let me give you a brief review regarding this Korean Drama series, HOTEL KING.

I'm not used to watch a series if Lee Min Ho or Lee Seung Gi is not in it. But hey! This series got me totally hooked.

This series was starred by none other than Lee Dong Wook and Lee Da Hae -- the exact couple who starred in My Girl (a hit Korean drama series back then). I wasn't able to watch My Girl, but since waiting for the next episodes of Hotel King every week is one kind of a torture, I decided to watch My Girl, too.

Hotel King revolves around the story of a, well, a hotel. Lol. Kidding aside, it revolves around on how the main lead, Ah Mo Ne (Lee Da Hae) learns to grow as a woman as she tried to protect Ciel (name of the Hotel). I really think that a drama which is not based on how the man protects the woman is amazing. In this drama, the woman has this 'girl power', and everyone may think that 'Wow! A woman can do that?' And hell yeah, they could! What I love is that I saw the transformation of Mo Ne, and she is not ultimately needy and clingy to Cha Jae Wan (Lee Dong Wook). She relied on herself to win.

This drama also reminded me of many valuable lessons in life: "Don't trust easily." Or... "Choose who you trust." Well, in any case, LOVE always win. Cliche as it may sound, but the main lead trusting each other unconditionally was hell of a game.

I give 5 stars for this drama as they portrayed their characters excellently. Did I mention that Lee Dong Wook is worthy of a praise, too? Yeah. He is so daaaamn good! It suddenly hit me that I want to marry a General Manager in a Hotel. Lol.

This series composed of 32 episodes. Yeah. You might think that it will bore the hell out of you. I actually thought that, too. But as a the series went on and on, I just wished that it would not end. A perfect ending, too. 

PS: Lee Dong Wook became my new bias ever since. I have been watching SBS' Roommate. :)

RahXephon

So I began watching the series RahXephon a few days ago. I'm normally not a huge fan of mecha anime but I heard it was pretty messed up and I can't set aside a messed up anime. I began watching it and immediately began to see what everyone meant. At first I was confused, I found it a little boring and almost gave up on watching it. While I won't say it's a GREAT anime, it is pretty good. I'm about to begin episode 22 and while it took a long time I feel like things are finally starting to tie together and some major questions are beginning to get answered. Also, even though it's a 'mecha' anime I find they could have implemented the mecha aspects a little better. I enjoy the story and most of the characters but the fight scenes are pretty much always the same: Ayato pilots the RahXephon to battle Dolems, which I find for the longest time you don't really have any clue as to what they really are, he begins to lose, then he either gets angry enough at something that happens that he just rage-kills whatever he's fighting against or Reika shows up and does some crazy shit that wins him the fight. It's a fairly predictable show in the sense that you can usually tell what's going to happen anytime Ayato gets into the Xephon, but it's the back story that gets you. All in all, not a very good mecha anime but if you can forgive that and focus on the other drama that happens I don't think it's an awful show. And who knows, maybe when I actually finish the show things will change? Could be one of those ones that just blows your mind in the last few episode? Buuuut I doubt it and I'm not counting on it. :P What are your thoughts? :)
