I remember this Korean MV. The one I have always been watching whenever I take short breaks during my review of the board exams. Whenever I watch this, there's always a part in me saying that: "Ah, I should've told these to him." But, in so many stories of regrets, mine was full of it.

It was our common friend's birthday, today. Kahapon, dapat magssurprise kami sakanya--ung barkada namin. Pero bawal sya, bawal din yung iba kaya hindi natuloy.

Nagtext sakin ngayon yung best friend ko na may surprise daw sa Sunday para dun sa common friend namin.

Me: Taray! Sinong nag-organize? Ikaw no?! Her: Hindi. Me: Sino? Si R****? Her: Hindi din. Me: Huh? Eh sino? Her: Si C****.

Ang weird lang. So, hindi mo talaga ako sinabihan? Bakit hindi mo sakin dinidirecho?

Her: Hulaan mo kung sinong hindi pwede. Me: Si D****? Her: Tama. Me: Pano mo nalaman? Her: Kay C****.

Seryoso? Anong galit mo sakin? Oo, sige. Tatanggapin ko naman kung sasabihin mo sakin na wala ka nang pake sakin eh. Tatanggapin ko naman kung sasabihin mo sakin na nagkataon lang yun eh.

PERO GANUN BA KO KA-TANGA?

Lagi kong naaalala yung mga times na sobrang saya natin. Yung wala tayong ginawa kundi tumawa. Or wala kang ginawa kundi patawanin ako. Kahit nagmumuka ka nang tanga. May mga times na napapangiti ako sa idea na magkikita na naman tayo. Hindi ako natatakot basta ikaw yung kasama ko. Hindi ako nag-aalalang mawala kasi alam kong andiyan ka lang lagi. Na isang text ko lang, tatawag ka na or pupuntahan mo na ko.

Hindi ko makalimutan yung mga times na naglalakad tayong dalawa pauwi sa bahay namin. Na kung anu-anong kalokohan gagawin mo para lang tawa ako ng tawa. Na ang saya-saya mo kapag nakikita mo kong tumatawa. Na gusto mong ikaw lang yung nakakapagpatawa sakin. Na kapag may nakapagpatawa sa akin na iba, nagseselos ka. At gagawa ka ng ibang bagay para lang makipagcompete sakanila.

You gave me that "first love" feels even though you were not my first love. However, somewhere along the road, it didn't work out for us. I have worked hard for us to get back together. And I stopped because I felt like it really wasn't going to work out for us.

Ilang beses kong naramdaman na gusto mong makipag-ayos. Na kahit yung friendship gusto mong i-save. Kaso...

And 2 years have passed, the name--your name -- didn't make me smile anymore. The idea of "us" do not excite me anymore. I don't know what happened.

Hanggang diyan na lang ba ang kaya mo?

Palagi kong tinatanong sa sarili ko na sa tuwing nakakaramdam ako ng hirap -- sobrang hirap, "Hanggang diyan na lang ba ang kaya mo?"

Para sakin, na hindi naman pinanganak na genius at sadyang "swerte" lang paminsan-minsan, ang malagpasan ang mga ga-higanteng mga problema sa buhay na magrerequire ng brain cells -- ay resulta ng pinaghalong swerte at hardwork.

Anong issue? Wala. Sa akin, wala. Yung utak ko, meron. Anong trend ngayon? MAGRESIGN.

This is my first job ever, ang maging external auditor. Ng isang prestigious firm sa Makati. Alam ko naman na, nung simula pa lang na mahirap yung trabaho. While I was still in College, I have been seeing my older brother having conversations with my Mama during mornings (prolly around 5:30AM).

Mama: O Clark, kumain ka muna bago ka umalis. Kuya: Ahh, kararating ko lang. Maliligo lang ako tapos papasok na ko.

Anong issue? Wala. Sa akin, wala. Yung utak ko, meron. Alam ko naman, aware naman akong mangyayari yun sakin. Pero tinuloy ko pa rin. Actually, nangyari na. I had my first busy season (which will be discussed here some other time) this year.

If your job is hard, try AUDIT. I'm not one to brag. Alam ko walang madaling trabaho. Pero hindi ko naman in-expect na hindi ito ganun ka-dali. Lahat ng trabaho mahirap. 

Pero sa mga oras na ganito? Yung tipong nakikita mong isa-isang nag-aalisan yung mga kasabayan mong pumasok sa firm na ito para humanap ng ibang mas madaling career...

Kapag ba sumuko ako dahil sa HIRAP, ano na lang ang makakaya ko sa susunod? Hanggang dito na lang ba ko? Siguro, hindi na lang talaga sila masaya. At kailangan nilang hanapin ang sarili nila. Pero ako? Masaya ba ko? Yan ang hindi ko alam.

Pero mapapatanong na naman ako, hanggang dito na lang ba talaga ang kaya ko? Ganun na ba ko kahina para sukuan 'to? Ang dami ko nang pinagdaanan para marating 'to. Palagi ko ngang sinasabi din sa sarili ko:

I HAVE ALREADY WORKED TOO HARD TO QUIT NOW.

Nalagpasan ko na ang 5 yrs ng Accountancy sa College. Nalagpasan ko na ang madudugong pre-board ng ReSA. Nalagpasan ko na ang near-death experience sa CPA Board Exam.

Ngayon pa ba ko susuko?

The Letter #1.

Hi! Kamusta ka na? Alam mo ba, I have already decided to not to talk to you, ever. I will totally AVOID you. Kasi hm... Ayaw ko na eh. Ayaw ko nang makaramdam ng kahit ano. Saya or lungkot, pagmamahal or galit -- basta galing sayo, AYAW KO NA.

Alam mo sobrang sakit ng ginawa mo. Pero hanggang ngayon, ang lakas pa rin ng loob mo. Ang lakas pa rin ng effect mo sakin. Best friend mo ko eh, 2 years ago. 2 years ago na ang lahat, pero masakit pa din eh.

Ang tigas din ng mukha mo no? Pero hindi na kita hahayaang masaktan pa ko ng sobra. Hindi na kita hahayaang makalapit sakin. Dahil simula ngayon, sana maramdaman mo ang tunay na sakit --

NA IWAN NA LANG NANG WALANG SAPAT  NA DAHILAN.

Bes, akala ko ako pa din. Pero akala ko lang yun. Kasi ikaw, ikaw pa din eh. September 1, 2014. I'm writing this to you, 2 years have passed, but it's still all about you.

Hotel King (A Brief Review)

So let me give you a brief review regarding this Korean Drama series, HOTEL KING.

I'm not used to watch a series if Lee Min Ho or Lee Seung Gi is not in it. But hey! This series got me totally hooked.

This series was starred by none other than Lee Dong Wook and Lee Da Hae -- the exact couple who starred in My Girl (a hit Korean drama series back then). I wasn't able to watch My Girl, but since waiting for the next episodes of Hotel King every week is one kind of a torture, I decided to watch My Girl, too.

Hotel King revolves around the story of a, well, a hotel. Lol. Kidding aside, it revolves around on how the main lead, Ah Mo Ne (Lee Da Hae) learns to grow as a woman as she tried to protect Ciel (name of the Hotel). I really think that a drama which is not based on how the man protects the woman is amazing. In this drama, the woman has this 'girl power', and everyone may think that 'Wow! A woman can do that?' And hell yeah, they could! What I love is that I saw the transformation of Mo Ne, and she is not ultimately needy and clingy to Cha Jae Wan (Lee Dong Wook). She relied on herself to win.

This drama also reminded me of many valuable lessons in life: "Don't trust easily." Or... "Choose who you trust." Well, in any case, LOVE always win. Cliche as it may sound, but the main lead trusting each other unconditionally was hell of a game.

I give 5 stars for this drama as they portrayed their characters excellently. Did I mention that Lee Dong Wook is worthy of a praise, too? Yeah. He is so daaaamn good! It suddenly hit me that I want to marry a General Manager in a Hotel. Lol.

This series composed of 32 episodes. Yeah. You might think that it will bore the hell out of you. I actually thought that, too. But as a the series went on and on, I just wished that it would not end. A perfect ending, too. 

PS: Lee Dong Wook became my new bias ever since. I have been watching SBS' Roommate. :)

One of the worst things I hate hearing when I am having a bad day is:

Well, tangina with feelings, pre. Hindi po. Paano mo masasabi sa isang tao na okay lang ang isang bagay kung hindi mo naman alam ang nararamdaman niya? Maaaring pareho kayo ng pinagdaanan. Pero, isang malaking pero, subalit at datapwat:

Walang dalawang tao ang makakaramdam ng isang bagay na sobrang magkatulad.

WALA.

I repeat, WALA PO. It may be insulting to that person because in all honesty, there are some instances when you have to pretend that it's okay when it is actually not. That's the hardest part. And you can't 

tell a person that it's okay when it's actually not. It might be even harder for that person than it actually is.

Everyone has their bad days pero kailangan nating respetuhin ang mga nararamdaman ng ibang tao. If you think it is helping them to cope up. No, Sir, it's not. You're actually making them feel worse.

Minsan, dapat nating ma-realize na mas makakatulong tayo sa iba kung makikinig lang tayo sakanila kasi minsan din naman, hindi hinihingi ang opinyon natin.
