       one thing was for sure, cleotilde was more than excited to get out of the academy & to see a movie. the event as a whole reminded her of the romantic drive in movies that happened in some of her favorite flics. the brunette had always wanted to go to something like this with a date, but of course for this night she was dateless - meaning she had absolutely no one to bug with her pointless questions.  “   excuse me ? do you know if the blankets are going to be directly handed to us or if they’re gonna already be laid out & it’s gonna be like a first come first grab type of thing ?   ”

       “   salut tate.   ”  the words had flooded from the small girl’s lips before she could stop herself. as soon as she saw the other she had to make it a point to talk to him, much against what her brain was telling her - her heart said otherwise.  “   comment avez-vous été ?   ”  cleotilde couldn’t remember the last time she had spoken to her ex, yet she felt a little ASHAMED that it took an event put on by the academy to go up & talk to him. she had felt -- almost bad for appearing out of no where, a caramel apple in her hand that cleo had just bought before her hazel hues laid on him. she just hoped she wasn’t a burden at this point.

       never in his life had joaquin ever left home without his sketch book & despite there being a movie, tonight was no exception. the male had made sure to bring a small backpack to contain all of his materials to be able to sit & sketch, but he had been having trouble where he should sit & what he should draw. roaming around for a little over half enough, joaquin was growing restless & his patience was wearing thin. but soon enough all of that seemed to disappear once his dark hues landed on someone. despite the fact that her back was turned to him, he knew exactly who it was. beverly richetti. joaquin didn’t hesitate to walk up to her, his hand instinctively going to the small of her back as he showed up at her side,  “   hey, bev. long time no see.   ”  just as quick as he was to put his hand on her back, he was quick to move it as well, realizing his mistake. he used to tell his girl everything, why the hell did he have to act so awkward now ?

       “   this whole night is like straight out of a movie !   ”  cleo has on the smallest smile, yet there are still dimples in her cheeks as she talks to beverly.  “   i feel wrong for not having a date. i know it shouldn’t matter at all, but it’s still just a little bit weird.   ”  despite her small size, at 5′4″, cleo was moving awfully quick around the area as she continued on talking & of course popping bev a question.  “   so ! what is your stance on disney movies ? i guess pixar as well !   ”

       “   francesco ! my man !   ”  TWO STEPS off the bus & the first person that cleotilde managed to lay her hazel eyes on was francesco -- who she was quick to shoot some finger guns at.  “   got a cute date for this movie night ? i don’t. & if you don’t do you mind if i pick your brain for a minute or two ?   ”  the smile on her lips was wide & toothy & boy was she hoping that the other said yes.

       “   so i love nagaaya with all of my heart, don’t get me wrong. but i have been working on this new character -- her name is orianna & she’s a rogue. she’s also an elf & tiefling mix, which are called davi. i was trying to think of some non-stereotypical backgrounds though, like i don’t want to go down the route of her parents being dead.   ” cleo is definitely rambling & she doesn’t even seem phased by the fact that there’s going to be a movie tonight. she’s just excited to spend some time with sam.

       after losing a certain richetti, joaquin decided to go & buy a pop from the concession stand before trying to find a spot to settle down for the movie. yet he should’ve been focusing on in front of him instead of every other direction because the next thing joaquin knows is that he’s running into someone & his soda is flying everywhere.  “   mierda, lo siento !   ”  it took the male only a moment to speak again,  “   i’m sorry man. is there anything i can do ? i wasn’t watching where i was going - i can give you my jacket ? or we could go into town quick & i could get you a new shirt or something ?   ”

       “   i would just like to say RIGHT NOW we are not sharing a blanket during this movie,   ”  the words are said with a bit of lightness to them, almost as if joaquin would laugh or snicker at any moment.  “   that could change with a bit of alcohol though,   ”  there’s a smile smeared across his lips, he knows that he’s joking - at least about half of it.  “   you think we could score some alcohol before the movie ? or do you think we’re outta luck on that one ?   ”
