Would you ever consider working with someone on a WIP?

I am not a super social creature, and am very picky with writing, but probably. Nothing longer than a novelette or novella; I'd not be able to handle the lack of control aksjdhkasjdhk. But I would definitely write short stories with others! That sounds fun.

OH MY WORD OKAY SO

there's this one absolutely fantastic scene in chapter eight that i based on an interaction among friends of mine and i; attempting to convince my friends that bread of any kind Cannot And Will Not cure wounds. now tou may be asking: why this scene? the answer is that i phrased in such a way that, over text, this sounds so chaotic that every time i gloss over it in loading i cackle

it goes something like this:

okay so hypothetically

oh no

HYPOTHETICALLY.

challah CANNOT cure burn wounds

-> and so on and so forth into shenanigans <3

nano is not going terribly? i wanted to accomplish a lot more than i have been, but i’ve only so much time & energy, so i try not to get too strict w myself abt it. i’m writing & that’s good enough!

hmm.. well, i’ve been mostly working on short stories. so i’ve been editing ‘growing bodies’, which is... about a person planting parts of themselves to grow little bodies. i guess. something like that LOL. i have this idea i really wanna write soon, which would be my first attempt at horror, which would be like from a child’s pov thinking their parents got replaced and whatnot.

Happy Wednesday !!! Are there any major symbolic objects in your world? Like objects that represent particular ideas to the people of your world? :0

Threads/weaving. Almost universally, the cultures have some aspect of Ksm, Weaver of Fate. Of all the gods, she is the one I think most likely to actually exist, and be an actual deity. Ksm touches us all, whether we like it or not, so weaving and thread imagery holds some kind of significance pretty much across all cultures. Now, whether or not its in adoration or fear of said force changes from group to group.
