@brighternite / plotted starter for lal ışık
he wouldn’t admit it openly but just hearing her voice threw him off his game slightly. months had passed, years even, and there was still that energy between them. an energy that couldn’t be denied even though they had both given up on it. the words falling from her lips like a song in his ear when she agreed to meet him. but billie told himself to relax, told himself not dream too big because this was ... a risky operation. the last time lal and he had laid eyes on each other thundering waves of rage had clashed and really, seeing her now could go either way. but if it went the way he wanted it ... they’d both be more than satisfied.
an arm rested on the back of her chair. he probably sat a little closer than it was really necessary but to the public they must look like they were on a regular date. even though it was anything but regular for the two of them to sit together at this table. still, the irish had a hard time not letting the tips of his fingers dance over the back of her shoulder. he felt warm skin under the fabric of her clothing, felt her torso rising and falling under her breath and william had to admit ... he still wanted her. in a certain way. the hopes of love had been long gone but the physical aspect of it was very much present on his mind. “i think you have been getting more beautiful with every day that passed since we last met.” the brunette complimented, smirking with the right corner of his mouth dancing up higher than the other. forty four years and he still felt like a man in his mid-twenties, trying to charm his way into a woman’s heart. if he’d ever settle again ... billie doubted it, blue eyes focussed on the prey instead.
