Harry picked up the ladle and stirred the liquid in the pot, a sᴍᴀʟʟ ғɪʀᴇ lit beneath bringing it to a small boil as the A R O M A filled the classroom.  ❛    it's the 𝕚𝕟𝕧𝕚𝕘𝕠𝕣𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 𝕕𝕣𝕒𝕦𝕘𝕙𝕥, the guys on the quidditch team said it'll help with energy during the match.   ❜ he knew this was the biggest match of the season - the FINAL against Slytherin and with the 𝕖𝕩𝕙𝕒𝕦𝕤𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 of final exams he needed any help possible.

“Morning,” Ron mumbled, barely looking up over his tepid porridge. He could do with something better than porridge again. A pang of wishing he’d just stayed home, that he was still with his mother, eating her home cooking. He forced a slight smile at Hermione. “Sorry about last night. I just wanted to apologize.” Never usually the one to bend first--this time, he knew he’d been an arse.

Ron frowned, his arms tucked around himself. He didn’t want to start a fight, not after admitting how he felt. But her reaction left him uncertain, waiting. Did she feel the same? “I dunno ‘Mione, not like you’re always the easiest to talk to.” Not for him at least. She scared him in the way she sent his heart speeding and his face turning bright red. “I thought maybe one day I’d just know how you felt and that’d make things a lot easier,” he admitted. Unfortunately, the reality was that he had to put himself out there without knowing what she’d say.
