Brightwhisker is an ancient deputy of Shadowclan under the rule of snowstar. She came down with greencough right after Snowstar died, and she died before she could head to the moonstone and pick a deputy. Her death caused a fight between two cats who ended up killing each other. Not much on her otherwise other than Flowerstar, the cat who became leader after Brightwhisker’s death, commenting that she wished Brightwhisker had live long enough to be a true leader of the clan
