Character development: Sanjay and Brigitte.

Hey, so some further sleuthing was made on the Overwatch reddit-about a possible voice actor for Sanjay Korpal.

Now I want to quickly talk about two characters and the first and most recent times we have seen them.

First Brigitte:

She was first seen in Rienhardt's comic dragon slayer(s?)

And this is what she looked like.

People went "Who da faq is dis?" and no one really paid her that much attention.

Then a year or so later-we got her in cinematic form:

And immediately everyone wanted her to hold their first-born. Why?

Because a comic panel is a 2D image, the artist has to re-draw her every time they need a new pose.

Cinematic Brigitte is a model, she does not need to be re-drawn, she is  moulded and shaped with every key frame. Through these actions and her voice, we learn more subtle elements, like the way her hair moves, her mannerisms when in certain situations.

Compare the massive difference between the two images above, virtually no-one cared about comic brigette until she got a model.

It is also worth noting she went through some MASSIVE changes

So, who else in the future is more then likely to get a model:

No, not you little burnt face girl-I mean maybe in a flash back-but Sanjay, as both a key part of Symmetra's life and Talon's council-is more then likely to appear in a cinematic soon.

Like the young Lindholm, no one really cared about him and art style was not the most forgiving.

This is the most recent picture of him:

He has definitely had a few alterations, none of them massive-but his face and hair is more defined, he's broader then in his first appearance. I don't doubt he could at least hold his own for a while against Symmetra if it came down to a fight.

Also another thing to notice is his silhouette, the ear phones and hairstyle that peeks on one side is rather distinct. D.va has headphones but her hair thickens at her neck and the headphones have designs coming out of them. Tracer has spikey hair that goes everywhere. Sanjay seems to have quite a simple but noticeable head silhouette.

What does this mean?

All it means as even as a background character-Sanjay is in relatively good standing with enough elements to make him catch the eye.

A lot of people have been dismissing his look as generic but give him a new wardrobe and as a cinematic character-he will have his own place next to Brigitte as a holder of first-borns.

 One last thing-We have yet to fully see Sanjay's left arm-the one with black running down it-he's holding it behind him at Rio, and it's off the table in Moira's origin story.

It appears as a hologram in a downward shot on the first page of 'A better world' but it's barely visible. 

seems like whether or not Sanjay is hero-he's got some surprises in store.

"Hi." She smiles at the much older man as she holds out a plate of food. "We cooked breakfast, you didn't come. Figured I'd bring some to you." She sits the plate in front of Jack before she settles in a chair at the same table. She puts her elbows on the table, chin on top of her hands. "You didn't hang out with us last night."

i feel like brig would love something that would slow time a bit, or need less sleep to function. she's constantly staying up way too late, or not sleeping at all, because she's getting distracted or really into something she's working on. and then she's dead the next day which isn't exactly helpful if overwatch has to go and do something last minute. so something that would help with that would be absolutely fantastic for her. of course i'm not sure of any specific superpowers that do that, but hey i can make them up, right?

"Alright, big guy, I think that's enough for you." Brig plucks the large stein from the table in front of Reinhardt, grinning as she drinks the last few sips of it, gulping it down with ease. "Now I think I might be able to beat you in billiards." She's lost every single time against him and she will absolutely take advantage of him this time to win.

They're sitting at a small table in a rather crowded bar, Brig drinking a beer and unsure of what Temperance actually has. Brig was just talking shop, Temperance actually listening for once in her life, when a woman came up to them and began flirting with Temperance.

Brig can't help but grin, but Temperance has no idea that's what's happening, and more or less ignores the woman in favor of asking Brig about a potential explosive with her flail. The stranger looks crestfallen, and Brig elbows Temperance in the ribs, giving her a pointed look. "Go dance with her," she says, leaning in close so Tem can hear her. "She's flirting with you, idiot!"
