They're sitting at a small table in a rather crowded bar, Brig drinking a beer and unsure of what Temperance actually has. Brig was just talking shop, Temperance actually listening for once in her life, when a woman came up to them and began flirting with Temperance.

Brig can't help but grin, but Temperance has no idea that's what's happening, and more or less ignores the woman in favor of asking Brig about a potential explosive with her flail. The stranger looks crestfallen, and Brig elbows Temperance in the ribs, giving her a pointed look. "Go dance with her," she says, leaning in close so Tem can hear her. "She's flirting with you, idiot!"

There are way too many people here for Brig's comfort. Is everyone flying in at the same time? They must be, otherwise the airport would be a little emptier. It's a small airport too, not terribly far from where she grew up. She arrived at her parents' home a few days ago, readying them to meet Kiriko. And now Kiriko's plane landed and she'll be here any minute.

She's excited, but a little nervous. She's never really brought anyone home before, never wanted to. In fact, dating was never a huge deal for her in the first place, but then she met Kiriko and now here they are.

Brigitte's right at the front of where arrivals come after baggage claim, having muscled her way through the others waiting. She wants to be the first thing Kiriko sees. People are chattering different languages, though mostly Swedish and English. She's bouncing on her toes, impatiently waiting for her girlfriend to appear.

She's only been waiting for about fifteen minutes but it feels like an eternity. Someone pushes past her and she gives them a bit of a dirty look, wanting to save all of her smiles and happiness for Kiriko. Then she sees her, coming down the small hallway, suitcase dragging behind her. Brigitte grins, practically breaking her face in half, and meets Kiriko halfway up the hallway she absolutely should not be entering.

Brigitte wraps her arms around the other woman and swings her around in a big circle, absolutely not caring that she might hit other people with Kiriko. "Welcome to Sweden!" she exclaims, then plants a big kiss on Kiriko's lips.

"If you think it's so easy, go ahead and try." Brig hands her uncle her flail, then crosses her arms. She leans against a wall of the training center, giving him a look that says go on, hurry up.

He has a big hammer that he swings around blindly half the time, but her small flail is a lot harder to aim and hit people with. One small miscalculation and it's hitting nothing but air. "Go ahead, Uncle Reinhardt. What, are you scared?" Brigitte grins at him, knowing that'll get him started.

absolutely by trying to make sure the people around her are okay. she'll bake, she'll make food, do their laundry, clean their house. she'll take them out to eat or to do something fun. she'll sit and watch tv with them or whatever they need that will make them feel better, because it distracts her. but then she's alone, and she'll distract herself with a project or baking copious amounts of baked goods. she might not sleep, afraid of what will happen when she's alone in bed. and when that does happen she cries her heart out.
