Thinking about late-thirties Jaime Lannister considered one of the most handsome men in the world and one of the best swordsmen alive, head of the Kingsguard, heir to one of the richest houses in Westeros, basically the top-tier image of an epic knight while lowkey he’s just a weirdo freak who fucks with his sister, lets her manipulate him, and has absolutely no idea how to handle his emotions toward other womenn so the only way he knows how to get the attention of the girl he likes is basically by insulting her like a 13-year-old boy who wants to ask his crush out but doesn’t know how so he picks toxic masculinity as his opening move. And then he gets frustrated because calling her ugly clearly doesn’t work as a flirting strategy but he keeps teasing and needling her because he literally can’t survive half a second without her attention. Like, what a massive himbo, how am I not supposed to love him when he’s an incestuous child-killer who, whenever he does something truly heroic, ends up disgraced or maimed?
