the concept of firestar losing the life brindleface gave him in the foxtrap is so dear to me. I like all the lives lost having meaning if possible. brindleface gave him a life for a mothers love. ashfur has a hand in this death and i would love to know what he thought if he knew that he was taking away a life his mother gave… polluting her final legacy, which was love for HIM. and ofc hawkfrost more directly caused it to further tigerstar’s schemes… more themes of children and their parents (their parents who are tigerstar who took brindleface’s life in the first place). and brambleclaw is there too but i don’t care about that
