Alexander’s derphound Podenco Canario, Luiz.
The ‘morning after the night before’ leap of horror...except nothing actually happened.
Will met another neighbour as he worked in his garden. Agnes lived nearby with her husband, son, her cat and her dog. She didn’t stop for long, but seemed friendlier than Alexander at least.
Making a start on the vegetable garden!
Lunch was rather awkward. Will eventually found out that Alexander was also a writer and tried to find some common ground. As the one word responses and lack of eye contact continued, Will found himself wanting lunch to be over for the first time in his life, he was sure that Alexander clearly felt the same way!
Alexander considered going home. He felt awkward about simply walking into someone’s house, even if he was invited to. As he turned towards the path, he saw a dog approaching him.
Alexander: Oh hello! You must live here too!
Bea bounced towards the new human in her garden, intent on investigating him.
Alexander: If I had known that you lived her, I would have brought Luiz. He would like you!
Dogs always made Alexander feel less anxious. Meeting Bea made him feel a little more comfortable about staying, although he would have much prefered to have had Luiz with him; he had left him at home as he wasn’t sure if he would be welcome or not.
Will and Bea live in a lovely house that is again by @jenba. I have partially redecorated it to suit their needs :)
I wanted a nice, laid-back S4 save where I play Brindleton Bay, everyone has pets and it’s rotational, so I’m doing that in between Smyth playing.
