Like guys I don’t play about polyvore fr! 👽
i miss polyvore now i have to use a white background on instagram stories and compile screenshots to freestyle outfits
I miss polyvore. I miss going to the computer labs during recess in middle school and looking up “emo girl” and “scene girl” and making an outfit for them
My thoughts on how Ssense has handled their recent acquisition of Polyvore.
Since people seem to like these Polyvore updates, or at the very least reblog them, I've decided to keep everyone updated on what’s going on with the petition to bring back Polyvore.
I have no idea what they’re planning besides getting noticed, but I check the website and twitter whenever I get the urge to go on Polyvore and remember - OH, yeah it’s gone - I’ll keep anyone interested updated every night.
Please reach out towards other people who’ve used Polyvore as religiously as we have - if you can find them since, you know, they took away the website and it's taking us a little bit to find our Polyvore friends - and urge them to sign the petition at the very least, it might look hard, I know, but its not.
We need to keep the momentum going and get in touch with someone who's going to give this petition spotlight. Or what we’re trying to do, to get back, will fade into the background like a lot of the other petitions out there - and the website we once loved will be forgotten

BRING BACK POLYVORE
First off, I’d like to say, what the fuck! Polyvore was one of the first sites that I used to help me with my fanfiction. It helped give me an idea or what I thought of for a character’s style. This is so not okay! Not only that, one of my favorite blogs @disneybound uses it so much. Now I’m scared cause I won’t be able to see amazing sets that they make from the site.
I’m even more upset that I had some sets that were going to be used in the future. Now, all my links that were from Polyvore now go to Ssense. I have to now personally delete or take out the links from every single chapter and story and that’s going to take me a while.
I am so upset that they had the nerve to do this.
Polyfam looking at Ssense be like:
Polyvore, My Polyvore, Why?
Why? I have been apart of this site for 7-8 years? I sort of met my girlfriend there.
I’m so disappointed. I was trying to look at a new set that my girlfriend had made and she had made it literally two days ago. I wanted to take a closer look and had to tell her the site was down. So all day the two of looked into the site trying to find out what was going on. I wake up today to the news, that polyvore was essentially bought and sold in shadow and cut the reset of us out.
How could you not give us any notice? What the actual fuck? I would say pardon my language, but double fuck that. I have spent so much effort on my sets. I have seen a change, a growth, in my layouts and fashion choices, and it’s just gone. I know that there’s this way to “download” your sets, but what is that suppose to really do for me? Remind me of what I have lost?
So many of those sets were role play related and or gave me focus for a story. The outfits, made real. And now all that effort is gone. wasted. Hours of my life meaningless.
I can only imagine the rage that people from the birth of the site feel. 8 years is a long time to prove worthless...
@vengeanceisanopenwound is my girlfriend. She can attest to the seething rage we both feel at the loss of characters, sets, and effort.
Give us back we lost. What we loved. Polyvore.
