This cobbled street might have ‘cosy’ written all over it, but what about ‘creepy’? 

Welcome to Bristol, one of the most haunted cities in the world - and one of its locations that give it this reputation.

Despite being known as the Christmas Steps, this street ended with a Gallows back in the 1660s. 

An odd 400 years later, and locals claim you can still hear an soon-to-be-hung criminal screaming and pleading for his life.
