I'm going to Norway this summer on an expedition with the British Exploring Society. To raise the money i need to go, i've set up an Indiegogo campaign, where you can receive photos and artwork in return for supporting me. So I was looking through my school emails today and I usually ignore most of it and delete them. Although I stumbled upon this website: http://britishexploring.org/ExpeditionsProgrammes/Age1825/EmptyQuarterExpeditionOman2014.aspx

For an expedition for 8 weeks to some uh, well I don't know where it is but it' in the desert. It's £3600 for 8 weeks which is pretty good considering it's one of those once in a lifetime opportunity things. There's a few problems with it though:

I'm not sure what you'd be eating- I imagine there wont be very much vegetarian food... XD 

It's in January 2014 and I'm planning on staying in school for an extra year. It's not so much of  problem if they've got a 2015 one though.

I'm fat and lazy and honestly... can you imagine me trekking around a desert for two months without dying of sunburn.

I'm poor.

Although I really like the look of it. Imagine seeing all those different things. I think it'd really put things into perspective.
