Who’s your fave British Political Cartoonist(s) and why? (at least terms of your fave artstyle of the cartoons, the design of the cartoons and the caricatures of the politics people featured in said cartoons I mean)
My personal fave cartoonists are Gerald Scarfe and Steve Bell cuz their cartoons are very whimsy and goofy, and that’s why I love them <33

it's really good questions. Well, I think out of all the ones I know, I'd probably highlight Morten Morland and Martin Rowson
I really like Morten Morland's style, and the way he conveys something... it just caught my eye. It's so interesting
I stylistically like many of his works and the covers he drew for The Spectator magazine. I really like how he draws politicians, his use of color and composition. At first his style seemed unusual to me, but now I like it sooo much
Rowson's style is REALLY damn grotesque and funny it wins me over. His cartoons have symbolism, some visual metaphors like the forked blue tongue, and often lots of interesting small details
I enjoy looking at political cartoons, and it can actually be quite useful if you, for example, need to draw a politician. Because their goal is to highlight the main facial features and traits, which makes the image more recognizable. At first, I found it hard to draw people, and plus my style is fairly cartoony so it helps me
Btw I also like Gerald Scarfe!! His style is very dynamic and somehow gives me some uuuh disney vibes
many other British cartoonists are interesting too, to be honest. My introduction to american and british politics actually started with them. I'm a bit sorry that where I live, this is less developed, haha
