BRITS 2015 - Blog
I know this rather late, but I want to do a run-down of my 5 favourite memories (in no particular order) from the (predictable) BRITS 2015 so here it is...
1) Ed Sheeran's performance of Bloodstream & drunken antics - A truly great, engaging performance. I love the song. He then proceeded to win, and then celebrate by getting embarrasingly drunk, with made for some amusing pap shots.
2) Paloma Faith's win & performance - I really like her and her music, I guess she did a bit of a lengthy and cheesy speech but I thought it was sweet. She really deserved it, she's worked so hard for many year and seemed to be the most genuinely grateful winner. Then, she went on to do a great performance of a great song.
3) Kanye West's performance - This is only due to the fact it had me in hysterics, due to the constant bleeps and censorship. Also, the fact it looked like he was setting-up a London Riots 2.0. Although, I actually don't mind Kanye, It was just a big joke really.
4) Madonna's iconic fall (and rise!) - At first I sat with the shocked face emoji for a good 5 seconds with great concern, I then rushed to twitter and ended up roaring into laughter with my parents and having to rewind the TV. It was comedy gold, but I was genuinely stunned and concerned for her. But I have to congratulate her on being a true performer and carrying on, it can't have been easy. Big respect to Madge, you have to love her.
5) Ellie Goulding lipstick mark - Just after presenting an award to her pal Taylor Swift, she was interviewed at her table, but I don't think she realised she still had Swifty's lipstick stain on her cheek and I was amused.
