What's your bio/quote thing from?
it's part of a poem called Pulling My Hair by a poet who refers to herself as Britta B. she isnt well known in the poetic community at all but met her 2-3 years ago when I went to this African American Activist thing during a field trip in high school. click here for the full poem on her blog.
