One of the great things about Philly is that it’s a pretty walkable city. The public transportation options, on the other hand, aren’t so hot. I took the regional rail to get into Center City all the time, and then the Market-Frankford line to get to the places I wanted to go in Old City and Society Hill, but I never took the Broad Street Line until a few weekends ago because I never had a compelling reason to take it before. It is super-convenient to the hotel we like to stay at, and now that they’ve finally eliminated tokens, paying for it is a breeze, so I doubt it will be my last.
