I've actually unlocked seven of the eight doors in the tunnel and I just have the last blue holly door left but I have no idea what I need to do next lol
the only concrete tasks I have left are drafting the treasure trove often enough to figure out what the "true treasure" is and digging up the keys for the archive filing cabinet, but both these feel so tedious and grind-y 😩
I also have no idea where to get more information about the realms to actually solve the sanctum rooms...

the endless trove notes have me thinking does it ever end 😵💫
the chess puzzle is basically my last open puzzle (aside from baron bafflers but I think that's not part of the main goal) but there's absolutely nothing indicating what I should be doing next
so many treasure trove memos (only one of which turned out to be about this family core) AND so many blue tent memos later (MOST of which were useless)
I've spent the past few days kind of playing intensely lol
I found the family core, opened the vault box, deciphered the grid (which btw I had absolutely no indication was supposed to be a letter to number cipher. I actually dumped the whole thing into a rotation cipher decoder online (which gave nothing) and was clicking around on that website and found this letter–number cipher, then joked to someone saying it better not be 25 corings to do lol only for them to be like I have bad news 4 u 😔️), spent several in-game days retrieving the watering can and storing the watering can and retrieving the watering can and watering books and drafting the secret passage outdoors only to find that I needed the watering can AGAIN and did that all over,
only to find the atelier and the mt. holly blueprints??? with 46 paintings and 46 mora jai boxes??? AND I don't even know what the three prism paths or whatever is for. literally does it ever end lmao
anyway stay tuned for my next post where I will have two brand new 5 × 9 grids in my lovely notebook for the paintings and the boxes (tbh I'm probably going to use a solver for the boxes. I HATE the boxes lol)
when I was a kid I thought the weather guy on TV controlled the weather and he was just telling us what he was gonna do for the next few days. when he said "30% chance of rain Thursday" I thought he was just guessing how likely it was he'd wake up in a rain mood that morning
I feel like I need to explain. there was a whole internal logic here. there was fucking worldbuilding. I knew there were different weather people on the news in different places and I thought each one was the weather decider for their local area. I knew the word "meteorologist" and thought it was a scientist who had expertise in weather control technology. I never questioned why there was bad weather sometimes because "bad weather" was subjective, after all, I liked cloudy days and snow. and the plants need rain, right? so I figured the weather guy probably had regular meetings with local farmers and gardeners to make sure the amount of precipitation and sunlight we were getting was working out for the crops. I never spoke about this to anyone, because I thought everyone knew. at some point my parents had said "this guy on TV tells us what kind of weather we're going to have" and I misunderstood exactly one fundamental point and built out an enormous set of logical conclusions from there. this lasted from like age 3 to age 6 btw
