Looking Forward
I wish I wasn't so poor. I've finally run out of my earnings from winter break. I'd say that's a successful run, wouldn't you? It'll definitely help me when I'm in the city. Speaking of living in NYC...I started looking at apartments today. Yes, it is obviously really premature for that, but wait until you hear what else I did. (I'm sure Olivia has done this to some extent). I not only looked at apartments, but I also calculated monthly costs(with or without Olivia, and I'm hoping WITH), the amount of money I would have to make at school this next year in order to move my life down there, and how much I would have to earn at whatever job I get in order to make monthly rent and food costs. I think it's safe to say I am a thorough and organized individual. The only thing I didn't realize until now: I won't have my car. It'll be sad to say goodbye to my sexy Jeep. I really love driving, so that might be one of the few things I dislike about living in the city. We'll see how many things I add to that list once I'm actually there.
For now, I'm trying to get enough money together to visit friends in the city this summer. It's not going as well as I had hoped. I'm not working many hours at Teavana, and I don't have a second job yet. It'd be great if I could make some money playing gigs. Can anyone hook me up?
