the scene/episode where brock is telling the boys he doesn’t love them will never fail to break my heart. hank sneaking into his car and being perfectly fine aside, I think that scene in particular was really important to express how much hank truly cares about and looks up to brock. sure, dean was upset of course, and his insistence of being family who love one another despite not being “brock’s boy” like hank is super important to solidifying their found family dynamic, but the disappointment and sadness in hank’s face as they go back on the plane is unmatched bro. hank will never, ever have someone as influential to him as brock and brock will never have a more passionate cheerleader
