Since 2008, I’ve been wanting to watch this short documentary about Elvis Costello and the soldier who inspired “I Thought I Write to Juliet,” one of the best songs off The Juliet Letters.
I finally found the whole thing up online as part of the Arizona Storytellers series. If you’re an Elvis Costello fan, you’ll find this truly amazing. It’s called “Letter of Thanks” and was directed by Doug Passon.
