Bro'fee at Alam Damai
Passed by this new cafe the other day and decided to try it out for dinner tonight.
As we walked in, we were greeted by a spacious interior with warm lighting and an inviting seating area. It’s always nice to visit a restaurant which knows how to use wood for that warm, comfy feeling.
I couldn’t help but think of the ‘How I Met Your Mother’ TV series when I saw the name of the cafe. We were told that the reason behind the name of the cafe is because it is operated by 2 brothers and their signature coffee is also called Bro'fee.
We ordered a hot and a cold Bro'fee, a popcorn chicken salad, cheese on toast and a breakfast platter (because, why not?).
The cheese on toast was good but it would’ve been nice with some soup. Hopefully they will incorporate that into the menu some day. Hint hint.
The popcorn chicken was tom yum flavoured and had an appropriate amount of dressing (I hate it when restaurants drench salad in dressing). The generous portion of boiled eggs tasted good with the salad.
The coffee was really good. It was just the perfect blend of milk and coffee for a caffe au lait. A very smooth taste which was enjoyable from start to end.
Summary: We will definitely be back for more Bro'fee.
