top three homestuck otps? any quad
I am still super fond of Dave ♦️ Terezi. I have always been fond of the potential dynamic, and what we saw of their friendship (partnership?) in the comic. Sadly I've never written them in a more canon setting. My big Dave ♦️Terezi fic is a space opera slave au.
Dave ♥️ Karkat is also a favorite, though again I haven't written any canonish settings for the pairing. I do have some favorite fics though such as Askerian's Crash Standing. (Well anything by Askerian)
The only reason I am a huge fan of Karkat ♠️GHB is a single fic: The Price of Forgiveness by Birchbow. This is only because this version of GHB actually takes care of his quadrants and the kismesis is very well balanced, with both parties extremely into the relationship. (There's also some funny bits where ghb is Scandalized because kismeses did not Cuddle back in the day and Karkat mocks him for being an old prude.)
For third place I am torn between John ♠️ Terezi and currently the rarepair Bro ♥️ GHB. I haven't really seen any fics where John ♠️ Terezi are a main pairing. It could be out there and I just haven't seen it though. Not sure if I could write it because I don't have a strong John voice. I'm super fond of the Horrible Bastard dynamic that is GHB and Bro. They are awful people in L-word and the way I write them, they can somewhat compensate for the immense and horrific gaps in each other's...everything.
And a pair I would like to see as bonus: Alpha Dave ♠️/♥️ Signless. Just because reasons.
