Contracts Break All the Time
If you live in Florida like I do, you see a lot of businesses of all sizes and types writing and signing contracts without any legal skill. Contracts are broken, partners argue and then comes a lawsuit.
The thing is that you could keep a lawyer on retainer for a few thousand bucks and keep yourself out of hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of trouble.
A lot of business partners no longer have a meeting of the minds when money starts rolling in. Maybe there was deceit from the start.
In short, you don't have to spend thousands on an attorney because many work on contingency fees. Sure you have to look for them.
Of course they offer this in Personal Injury, but others offer it in business and civil litigation, trust and estate litigation and many other kinds of litigation.
Lawsuits are expensive so before you get started down the road with a contract, think before you sign and if you're not sure, spend a few bucks to let a lawyer look through it.
