Interesting how both Percy’s closest friends betrayed him because Chiron told him to and neither of those instances were in the books. I’m not complaining about it—I think it was a good twist in season 1 and I’m reserving judgment on season 2 until I see the rest of it—but why are the writers doing this? Because Luke was his friend and betrayed him—so why undermine that by having other friends betray him?
