Broken Lands ~by Jonathan Maberry:  For horror and zombie fans.  It’s set in the same world as  the Rot & Ruin series but you don’t have to have read them before you start into this world where burying your mother twice is normal.

Come November ~by Katrin van Dam: Rooney’s mother has lost her job, but decided not to get another.  Instead, she joins a cult convinced they’re leaving earth.  If only she would plan their actual lives even half as much as she does the requirements for space travel.  For fans of realistic fiction.  

Ignite the Stars ~by Maura Milan: For fans of space, found family, or thrillers.  A teenage criminal mastermind is forced into a military academy while a larger threat gathers.  A perfect crossover if you’re generally not a fan of sci-fi and the start of a series, so you can look forward to more of Ia’s adventures.

Secrets of the Casa Rosada ~by Alex Temblador: Martha’s mom just abandoned her with family in Texas.  Her grandmother only speaks Spanish, and is revered as a curandera-a healer-by the town.  Her extended family is welcoming, some of her classmates, less-so. Perfect for fans of character-driven stories.

Old Garr’s Canyon, an encounter for my West Marches Campaign

A pleasant stream flows through a lush box canyon, guarded jealously by a legendary monster simply known as “Old Garr.” While many adventurers and scouts have been sent into the canyon to rid it of the beast, none have been successful.
