A doll that wears glasses. An odd holdover, but one its witch decides to allow.

Its vision is perfect, the witch ensured that much. If anything, the glasses make the doll clumsy, imprecise. Pouring tea well past cups, tripping on rugs.

But no matter how many times it stumbles, or trips, or spills, or breaks, it just huffs, adjusts its glasses, and returns to its task.

The witch could remove its fixation. She could give it costume glasses. But its huffing amuses her so. And teacups can be replaced, tablecloths cleaned…

She forbids it from holding anything precious and allows it to continue.

Over months, it becomes her faithful shadow. Equal parts terror and delight to guests who either share her amusement or know better than to say otherwise.

Until the day she asks it to fetch a book she left on her bedside table, upstairs.

Something in the witch shatters when she hears the crash from the foyer, and for the first time in a century, she runs.

She can see she's too late before she enters, but she doesn't cry until she hears a crunch under her heel.

Glasses, as hopelessly broken as the doll that wore them.

In the end,

Ms Gracie is always grumpy and CANT sleep.

"Toys are never cranky. They're filled with joy"

She is an unhinged toy who always screams.

"Do you want to feel comfortable? Do you want to feel safe?"

She is isolated and everyone hates her.

"Toys don't feel pain. Toys don't need answers"

I am glad she got what was was coming to her.

"Being a toy is paradise."

So yeah; I’ve looked at the game play trailer; and man, I have a lot of feelings about it 😭

As priorly stated before; Lily is here to stay and she is lalaloopsy core, and you will have to pry that from my cold, dead, hands, but. Literally everything else…. I feel like chapter five is were we are going to loose a lot of the cannon plot; cause I’m going to be nit picking through it.

Regardless of what happens; Broken Things is where my story will end. Mostly because there is literally no way you can go any deeper than we already have (/j), but also because I refuse to humor a narrative that’s being stretched for media attention. They have the perfect set up; perfect build up, so if proto isn’t dealt with in this chapter; I ain’t impressed sadly.
