Agnès didn’t even think about saying that. It just came out, she was concentrated observing the other’s art, appreciating how careful he was with the details, showing some kind of affection towards his own art.

“Oh, sorry...!”

She was quiet until then, the girl didn’t want to bother him. Actually, she had other things to do, but somehow she felt an attraction as she saw that canvas being filled with color and discreetly approached and started watching the guy.

Yet, after revealing herself, she didn’t feel like leaving. What she had to do wasn’t really important anyway. Unless the other wanted her to be there, she wouldn’t mind leaving him alone, since Agnès was the one who approached him.

Exiting his house, Hoshiku looked up at the sky, which was soon turning dark. The streets were quiet, with only very few people out at the moment. Hoshiku had rarely gone out the past week, but he makes an effort to try, but ultimately fails in the end.

This time of the day, is where he can get out with confidence. Now while it wasn’t a smart idea, he closed his eyes, to imagine all the past things that have happened in his life, and his memories in ‘ amaranth ‘ . As much a strange place it is, he couldn’t say that he didn’t enjoy it. Humming a little tune, he stumbled back as soon as he colided with someone. Definitely the result of him closing his eyes, while walking.

Dusting himself off, before quickly getting up, offering a hand to the stranger, he mentally slapped himself. Why as he so accident-prone? “I-I’m sorry, are you... alright?”

   He’s certainly NEVER seen a place like this before... It was so... Peaceful. There were things that would come close in Ooo, but He had either earned himself a one-way ticket out of there and got banned or had a hand in disturbing the peace in someway. Usually both. White eyes focused on the sky above, Magic relaxed on a bench in the gardens, watching the fireflies hover about. It was a rather intoxicating view... Something she would have loved to see if fate would have allowed. No such luck of course...

   Extending an arm up, Magic waited a little before a small firefly too rest on his arm. «...Heh... How Cute~ But let’s have you live up to your name, huh~?» Menacingly, his other hand hovered close to the little bug, ready to change it into something akin to a lit match. Just a flick of the wrist and it would be set ablaze... But he paused, feeling someones eyes on him. [Oh, boo. Just when I thought I could be to myself... Buuuut...] Getting a better look at him forced a chuckle out of the martian, paying no mind to the firefly flying off his arm, free of his fire magic. [This fella could be fun!]

   «Heya, Champ! How’s it goin?» Magic waved to him, never lifting his head from his spot while his feet kicked in the air. «You new here too~?»

She was euphoric when she discovered this strange new world possessed one of Sophie’s familiar delights in her home world: books. And rows upon rows of shiny leather spines stacked together all the way up to the ceiling. It was, to understate, the bibliophile’s dream.

“Finally,” she thought. “Something to keep my mind off of my death.”

When she came to, she noticed a rather frail and thin-looking individual minding his own business in a corner of the bookstore who she assumed to be an employee. 

“Excuse me. Could you help me find the fantasy section?”
