Odd Friendships

I wanted to draw my ocs interacting with canon characters more so here I go!!!

I finished the first two for the set a little while ago but got burned out for the third one.... Anyway first set for my brokenchainverse ocs!!

Tell us more about Blythe!!! - R

Hi R!!! Am busy so late reply, sorry!!!

Anyway!!! Someone else also asked about her relationship with her siblings so I'll give some other info, plenty to talk about. :)

I made some changes to her team and all that so I'll write some of that here as well.

I already said she's 25 (during Deso's story) and she specializes in Fairy/Grass.

She's MtF, shorter than Chad but taller than Dearil. She's lesbian and datong Ava!!!

Her starter is Chikorita and the Skiddo from the beach.

Her pokemon are very witch/magic user themed.

She is very spunky and outgoing, the opposite of her older brother.

Unlike her siblings she is the only one not adopted. Much like them though she doesn't get along with her mother, she does have a great relationship with her dad.

As mentioned before, she is dating Ava. Grassbians :)

She treats others the way they treat her. Scarlett and her treated each other kindly until Scarlett joined team Crescent. Although she saw her as an enemy deep down she still cared for her.

She goes with the flow, wherever her journey takes her. She tends to move on quickly from her hardships, she still feels sad or bad about some things but it doesn't weigh her down for a long time.

I haven't really planned on how she lost her memory or arrived in Ayrith yet, waiting to get more info when future versions come out. Probably a little while after Chad left after his own journey (she had cut contact at that point anyway)

She loves rock, metal and jazz music.

She is a fan of writing and cooking.

Loves horror and sci-fi.

Hmmm there is probablt a lot more but I can't think of them on top of my head rn.

So it's the brokenchainverse trio rn (Chad, Dearil and Blythe) but more specifically Dearil! I've been reworking them a lot lately, and am very happy with how his story is turning out!

Currently am reworking their team/pokemon roster and am having a blast with it, I'll be redoing my runs for them soon. (after af or whenever v14 comes out. Not sure yet.)

(I also have a bunch of original ocs/non fan characters I've been working on who I adore so so much, one in particular, but I have yet to show any of them so I will not talk about them. Yet)

Thinking about getting rid of Chad's Charizard since it messes with his water specialty. Honestly thinking of getting rid of the dragon type specialty as a whole.

Might change it to electric or flying for a storm team.

Some more random tidbits:

Their heights go from oldest being to the tallest to youngest being the shortest. (Ages right before their adventures all set off)

Chad, 25: 190cm

Blythe, 21: 187cm

Dearil, 18: 170cm (Will change to 180.5cm when taking control of his host)

There is 5cm between each of them

So about the brokenchainverse trio: What is their relationship with each other (mostly with Blythe if they ever met)? Or how they get along with the other rebornverse characters in their respective fangames?

Oh I LOVE their relationships!!!!

I'll talk about the siblings specifically.

Long post ahead:

Blythe has very much met them yes. As mentioned in another ask she is the only biological child of Aasha, and they do not get along.

Blythe does get along with her siblings though, although Aasha tried to keep them apart since Blythe would be a bad 'influence' on them.

Chad is very much the older brother who has to take care of his younger siblings who he tries to keep out of trouble. Because of this he now has a very caring nature.

Chad loves them both very much, however Blythe doesn't live with them or see them as often as they would all like.

Because of this he is closer to Dearil, except he acts more of a father figure to them as opposed to Blythe who he has more of a siblibg like relationship.

Both of the younger siblings tend to get into trouble a lot.

Blythe by just being very outgoing and wanting to go and and have fun, she tries to get her siblings involved which upsets Aasha who justs wants to keep them home with little to no contact with anyone.

Dearil by, well, just trying to get in Aasha's way. They love getting on her nerves.

Chad tries to keep them on Aasha's good side which only sometimes works.

But to come back to Blythe and Chad specifically.

They get along well, Blythe loves teasing Chad which doesn't bother him at all.

He taught her how to cook!! :] He has also picked her up many times when she got drunk, she always called him because she didn't want her dad to find out she got too drunk.

Dearil and Blythe have this friendly sibling rivalry. Always trying to out annoy each other, they also argue a lot.

They do however, bond over bothering their mother.

Blythe was the first to leave the family, she cut off her mother for good but had to cut of her siblings because of it.

Chad although sad understood and supported her decision, Dearil was pissed. They viewed her leaving as a betrayal and pretended she didn't even exist.

When Chad left Dearil viewed that as the ultimate betrayal.

After the events of Deso Blythe visits Chad again (first her mother as she didn't know Chad left/Dearil 'died' yet)

Whatever barrier was between them has completely shattered at this point and the two become closer than before.

Dearil visits a little while after the events in Rejuv. It is very awkward for them as unlike their siblings they didn't really age like them (well, he did, but not by much). Luckily enough he still grew as a person and their siblings don't care about the age thing as much. Much as Chad and Blythe getting better along with each other Dearil is the same with both of them.

Although they still have the same kind of dynamics, it all comes fully from a place of love instead of just kids who were put in the same bad situation. Although none of them live with each other anymore they are closer and their bond is stronger than ever.

Being apart from each other was exactly what they all needed to grow.

OTHER STUFF!!!

All of them have a pokemon that represents their siblings on their team. (Blyth and Dearil did this unconsciously). Since post game isn't available yet for Rejuv and Deso I will not be able to make a post game team for them but I will in the future!! Chad:

Main game:

Charizard (Mega X), which represents Dearil (paragon) and is also a parallel to Dearil's Charizard (Mega Y)

He also has a Gyarados, which is a parallel to Dearil's Aevian one, although it isn't on his final team at all.

Azumarill which represents Blythe.

Post game:

Charizard stays the same

Primarina, Blythe also gets one in during deso main game. He changes it because after learning Dearil 'died' and being unable to get into contact with Blythe at all he wants something to remember them by. Primarina fits more than Azumarill in his opinion.

Future (5+ years later)

Charizard stays the same

One of the fairy type legendaries you can get in post game to represent his sister. At this point Blythe and he has already reconnected so he doesn't need an 'exact' reminder of his sister, but still something to represent her.

I'll choose which one exactly later, I have a few ideas.

Blythe:

Primarina, to represent Chad. It is also nicknamed after him.

Audino (mega) to represent Dearil. It is also nicknamed after them.

Dearil:

Charizard (Y), not really to represent Chad but it is a parallel to his Charizard (X).

Aevian Gyardos, which represents Chad and is nicknamed after him.

Sawsbuck, which represents Blythe. It is also nicnamed after her.

Although both Blythe and Dearil didn't know/remember their siblings at the time of nicknaming their pokemon after them, they just know it felt fitting.

Chad hasn't named his pokemon after his siblings, he has however named his children (had them between Deso and Rejuv) after them. They are twins and it's their second names that are named after them.
