It's been a while since the last time I posted, since we washed up and stocked up in Shearwater. I'm happy to report that we handily survived the strenuous transit of Cape Caution, and we're back into calmer waters. Calmer waters, and a landscape that's starting to look more familiar. In the last day, we've spotted big leaf maples, shore pines, and Douglas firs, for the first time. Here, a mellow afternoon on Johnstone Strait, at the south end of the Broughton Islands. #brokenisland #oiselletheboat #insidepassage #southbound
