     Fandral stopped on his way down the stairs, hearing a noise from below, but no voice followed. He put a tentative hand on his sword, just for security measures. "Hello," Fandral called, waiting at attention for a voice to respond or a form to appear around the corner.

"Well, well, well. It appears I have discovered yet another twin. And what may your name be, hmm?"

"How many of us are there?  No matter, I suppose.  My name, as you should well know, is Loki.  Loki Liesmith, Loki Silvertongue, Loki of no father nor mother.  As to what I am called..."  Icy eyes took in the mirror-form before him.  "Trickster.  Trick, if only to avoid confusion with the myriad of others who claim the term 'trickster' to define themselves.  And you, twin-mine?  How should I call you?"
