i’m thinking about starting to get my EMT License, how is it?
well, first thing is, you should definitely be in pretty good shape. i didn’t think of that before hand and ngl i’m getting my ass kicked a little bit. but other than that i personally find it to be a very hands on and enjoyable field of work. every class i attend, we spend hours in labs, practicing our skills. there’s a lot of self study and homework; it’s probably the fastest paced course i’ve ever taken. it’s definitely not for everyone but if you have plenty of time to work on it and you want to do something different every day this is the way to go

The fucking UC system is garbage. I was extremely ill and UC Merced kicked me out without ever telling me about medical leave, along with 100+ other students who had the same issue
