Does it bother you when I call you dear? I'm a very affectionate creature and I tend to use dear for people I consider friends. I will totally try to change if it bothers you! I'm not always good at remembering but I will try my very best. You mentioned about mentioning you disliked a doctor calling you dear and I can't recall if it's just him or in general

not at all! i dont mind being called dear by friends and family members that i like. its when people who i dont know or particularly like call me dear that i get the willies. 

the doctor today was just kinda condescending with it. does that make sense? 

same with other affectionate names! sweetie, cutie, etc. are fine when we know each other and you are being affectionate. but they can become problems really fast when people are condescending with them.

I've only had a bloody nose once in my life and it's so weird to me that people get them all the time. I didn't even get a bloody nose when I BROKE my nose. IT'S SO STRANGE TO ME TO HAVE A BLOOD VOLCANO OUT YOUR NOSE

i dont get them either!!!! which is why. this is like not a good thing.
