What made Miya Bailey who he is today? I’m a man of flaws but I embrace them... I’m a man with severe trust issues but I have my reasons... I’m a man of peace but I have a quick temper... Repost from @artemusjenkins ・・・ back before IG was popping and that cool boomerang gif @miyabailey uses to announce Q & A time, he had the bright idea that we should do a Mr. Rogers style kinda intro to go with the Q & A videos. I was tryna shoot some shots on my new Glidecam situation, which is close to impossible for longer than 5 minutes without the vest and arm. one day I’ll get seriously invested in working with gimbal stabilizers again, but at the time I just COULD NOT ever get those things to stay in the middle like I needed. I decided I would just craft my style around not ever needing one because they always took away from my shoot time and I know I probably looked crazy once my arm started shaking from tryna do these complex camera movements I would cook up. 7 years later, these stabilizers just cut on and balance themselves. you can pass that bih to any ole body mid shot and still get something quasi professional looking. the turnaround on technological advances makes me sound real long in the tooth huh? #tbt #miyabailey  #ArtemusJenkins #brokenstories #blackartist (at City of Ink)
