The best of things always seemed to be the most unexpected. And that was very true for Thace, every, single, time. The man had met his love on another planet after a crash landing. They had built a life, a heaven together. And later on had started a family. Sadly, over time, Thace had to take his leave so his mate and their cub would be safe from the Galra Empire. And that time had ripped him apart. Scarred him. Many years later and it still hurt from time to time, especially when something unexpected popped up. What once invited great things randomly now reminded him of that pain, yet he refused to brood over it. It was done. Unfixable. There was no need to stay in the past. For the most part Thace had managed to move on, and whatever pain he felt inside his heart stayed hidden well behind his usual expression. It was a good trait for a spy, and it was paying off to keep from anyone both in the Empire and at the Blade from asking if he was alright. It worked usually for the small things, but the mention of family and real specific things from that beautiful world would sometimes make him feel sad. He had always been fine here that the Blade of Marmora, not too much reopening that pain. In fact, Thace was having a nice day mingling with the other Blades and taking care of work until something caught his nose, his smile disappearing and heart jolting. Thace smelt...it couldn't be. Continuing on organizing some reports to take to Antok he tried to ignore it. But he couldn't, because once he turned around, there was a small Galra in front of him. Galra? Why...How? He was confused, but being who he was he stayed polite. "Can I help you?"
