Masterpost of (almost) all the finished illustrations I made for the ending of Spyro 1! Although since Fumblr doesnât allow more than 11 images Iâll have to upload Baker Delvin later⊠We were given the opportunity to make an illustration of whatever we wanted with Spyro characters, so I thought it would be fun to do 12! The idea behind these is that Spyro is an Artisan dragon, and his surrogate dragondads are helping him find his âartistic voice.â It reminded me of the teachers that made an influence on me, despite having to put up with my own crap (I wasnât the best student!). These dragons illustrated here were designed between myself, Jeff Murchie and Nicholas Kole. 38 Studios reunion!

Shiro gave a sad sigh before diving into his explanation of last nightâs discussion.
âKristine said thereâs a planet called Terreria, itâs not far from her home planet. There we can find a solution to her condition. But we have to move now, she doesnât have a lot of time.â It was short but straight to the point. Coran nodded and began making his way to the control bridge to make the preparations while the Paladins finished breakfast and then prepared for the day ahead.
Except for one, as Lance had gone to look for Kristine. He found her a ways down the hall, in tears. âWeâre about to make our way to Terreria. Is thereâŠis there anything you need us to do before we get there?â
Kristine had finish âcryingâ when Lance came for her. âPrepare my body to move.â She said. âThat pod needs to come with youâŠand to charge Purps. Sheâs going to need her energy.â
Lance nodded, taking in her eyes, which were red from crying. He walked at a brisk pace to the infirmary, where Kristineâs body was resting in the pod still.
He removed the pod from where it was stationed, slowly lowering it so it was horizontal, and took it out of the infirmary. He whistled for Purps, not knowing where she went off to.
Purps came. No Holographic Kristine means Purps was running on empty. It came over to Lance and meows, wanting to be picked up.
Kristineâs body in the pod seem to regain some color but she was still very pale and eerily peaceful. The only thing that can confirm that she was still alive was the constant heart beat monitor on the pod.
Lance picked up Purps in one arm, and took control of the pod in the other. After easing it into a horizontal position, he pushed it out of the medbay and to the hangars.
âSheâll be okay Purps, I swear it.â He nuzzled the mechanical feline with his cheek, eyes still on the path ahead.

âHow the hell are you still conscious right now? Your temp is almost 104.â
Lance stared at Soldan, leaning against a table in the Atlas conference room. Allura was helping him stay on his feet, but she was just as worried as Soldan was.
âI donât know.â He felt fine that morning, but as the day wore on, he started to feel terrible, and it only got worse from there. It wasnât until he tried to get up after a meeting that he had felt severely dizzy and nearly collapsed. Soldan had acted quickly, and took his temperature.Â
The results were less than satisfactory needless to say.

âHow long was that going on for?â Shiro asked her.
âA few weeks, and he developed a cough last week. That made his irritability worse.â They both frowned at that, and looked back at Soldan, who was working away to find a solution.Â
A few minutes of silence went by, before Lance came to while starting a coughing fit. Every breath was painful on his chest, even his back. But that wasnât the worst of it. He could feel fluid in his lungs, too much fluid. How it got there he didnât know.
Hands were on his back, neck, face, and he couldnât figure out who was where. But all were comforting, so it didnât matter at the moment. Suddenly, there was phlegm in his throat, and he hacked it up with a great amount of force.
Someone had been quick to fetch a little plastic tub for him to spit it out into, thank goodness.
âSoldan!â Shiro cried, eyes wide with fear for his friend. He was beginning to have some suspicions on what else had Lance so sick, but he needed assurance from Soldan.
Taking notes on what Allura was saying, taking several more minutes to think while pacing. Stopping with a fin flick, examining the screens and taking more notes on what was going on. Pupils thin for a better focus, then back to normal. Her back then tensed up, looking over at Shiro-then at Lance. Jogging over with clipboard still under one arm. âWhat iss it? What happened?â Her voice was stern, but keep a concerning tone over it.
âHe hacked upâŠI donât know what!â Shiroâs eyes snapped to the plastic tub that Lance had spit into, and gagged. âItâsâŠmucus. The mostâŠdisgusting mucus Iâve ever seen in my damn life.â
Lance, who was now conscious, was looking around the room. His eyes were glazed over, his throat now feeling raw. Allura was gently rubbing his back, assuring him that everything was alright.
âWhatâsâŠâ His voice was barely existent, thanks to the coughing spell heâd just gotten over. âWhatâs goinâ on?â His body began to sway, and Alluraâs gentle grip became a firm one to keep him from falling.
âIâll ssend then through the sscanner, give me a minute.â Taking the small plastic tub, carefully putting it under said scanner on the equipment-starting it up. âLance, ssit up sslowly and donât go too quick. Iâm tryinâ my besst to get ressults. but itâss takinâ timeâŠâ going to another screen, looking everything over again. âIf ssomethinâ lookss off, let me know. Itâll flassh a dark blue, sso itâll be eassier on the text reading.â
With Alluraâs help, Lance was able to sit up. He took it slowly, as instructed, not wanting to fall over again. He coughed wetly a couple more times before relaxing once more.
His throat felt like it was ablaze and raw, eliciting a pained wince every time he swallowed. It didnât go unnoticed by either Allura or Shiro, who could only shoot him a sympathetic smile.
Suddenly, the screen flashed a dark blue, making a startlingly loud beep that made Shiro, Allura and Lance jump.
âYou gotta be fuckinâ kidding.â It wasnât often that Shiro swore, but when he did, the cause was something severe. His suspicion? Pneumonia.
âWhoa-Iâve..never you sswear like that.â staring, slightly wide eyed; Soldan then turned attention to the screen, typing up what to do to cure what the results gave. Running a few things for several seconds, staring at the printer with an impatient hiss. Taking the paper out, reading quietly and muttering something to herself. âThiss has a few thingss thatâll help cure what Lance hass. I got everything needed in a medical box I have in my room, which I dragged in hereâŠ.with ssome trouble ussing my left arm coming off a few timess.â
Shiro completely ignored Soldanâs comment on his colorful choice of words in favor of focusing on Lanceâs diagnosis. âSo it is pneumonia.â He let out a harsh string of curses, harsh enough to make Allura gape at him with owlish eyes.
But then Soldan gave the good news, which allowed him to relax immensely. âThank you, Soldan. You are a godsend.â He finally said, ruffling her hair.
âSoldan?â Lanceâs voice was severely hoarse and crackly. âWe...really need...to fix your arm. Canât...have it falling off...so frequently. Not good.â

Sorry for poofing on yâall
The DLC for Pokemon Sword and Shield went out recently, and Iâve been playing a lot of Pokemon.
"Hunk, look what I found!" In his arms was a miniature version of Kosmo, with white fur instead of black. "Isn't she adorable?" He'd found her in a back alley at a space mall, and didn't have the heart to leave her behind. So he did what any decent human would do, and brought her back to the Atlas with him.
âHoooww⊠how did you find a puppy and managed to smuggle it through the ship?â Of course Hunk was already reaching out with both hands and scritching the small wolf behind the ears. He was not going to let this opportunity go to waste! They had missed Kosmo as a puppy! Not a mistake Hunk would do again. âDoes she bamf?â

While it was fun to have all the pets around he hoped that they wouldnât have to return the puppies because of space ship rules or something. âLance? Where are we going to keep them?â
âCharlie? Oh.â Lanceâs heart melted upon hearing the name the gray boy. Charlie liked the name he was given, because he gave a cheerful bark and wagged his tail. The Blue Paladin grinned at Charlieâs response to his name, and patted his head.
The white pup, still without a name, looked at Hunk lovingly, and kissed his nose.
âWhat are we gonna name the female, Hunk?â Pidge asked, eyes on the puppy in question.Â
Unaware of the fact that Lance thought that he had named the grey wolf cub Charlie Hunk was just happy petting the puppies. It went completely past him that there was a mix up with the names. He pet the white pup and let Pidge do the same. âI donât know yet! Got to get a feel for what kind of pup she is. Get to know her a little.â
This was after all quite sudden. âDidnât really have any wolf names readied in mind this morning. You got any suggestions then Iâm open to hear it.â He looked up to see how Lance was smiling. âThat goes for you too. Any good names in mind? I donât have naming monopoly here.â
âThis is very out of the blue, dude. I gotta think on it, too.â Lance was still smiling, even though he didnât have any good names in mind yet.
Pidge was skeptical about the name âCharlieâ for the grey pup, and made her opinion heard. âLance, I think Charlie is a bit cliche for a name.â
Lanceâs smile faded a bit. âHm...yeah, you do have a point. Canât use Baebae, âcause thatâs your dogâs name. Theyâre space wolves, so it should be something...âspace-yâ, if that makes sense.â Damn, he was going to have to poke his head in the Altean library for ideas. âHunk, Pidge, what do you say we take a look in the library? Maybe we can get some ideas from there.â
Happy birthday, Mom.
You wouldâve been 59 today.
Iâll be thinking of you a lot today, Mom. I love you and I miss you always.

OOC: FYI
I have a crap ton of twelve hour shifts coming up in the next two weeks, so most of my time is gonna be spent on Venâs blog.
I signed up for three mandates a week for the next two weeks, and got two more attached, bringing it to a total of eight.
Yeah, I brought this one onto myself, so I canât complain too much. But I am gonna be tired as heck.
