Brome
Magic frog warm up sketch. Brome from Absolum.
Felldoh: An unopened door is a happy door so we never answer ours when someone knocks. Brome: What, so you all just sit there? Felldoh: Yes. Brome: So the doorbell goes and you all just sit there until the person goes away? Felldoh: Yes. Brome: What if it’s important? What if it’s good news? Felldoh: This the Northlands, Brome. It’s not someone with cake! Unless that cake is made of dog poo and knives!
Goodness, it's DLC day today.
Been big into Absolum! Definitely my game of the year. You guys should go check it out!

If I had a nickel every time an Absolum character had to repopulate their species asexually...
Which playable hero from Absolum are you taking on a date?
Galandra
Karl
Cider
Brome
Galandra is a little dour, a little grim—not the most approachable at first. She's haunted by The Horrors™, after all, and has a lot of suppressed anger that she doesn't want to unleash on the wrong person.
However, she's incredibly sexy when she allows herself to let loose and enjoy herself in combat, and she'll likely take that attitude into the bedroom as well. That otherworldly arm of hers could easily do some freaky stuff, but I don't know how willing she'd be to use it that way.
Galandra also has an appreciation for fine things, big or small. She shows a deep reverence for stories, songs, culture—memories, in short, since she was once a Maiden of the Silver Queen, guiding pilgrims to their final rest.
Watch a dark, artsy film together, or maybe read poetry to each other, and you'll likely have a very tender night afterwards. Just be prepared to navigate a few emotional walls.
Karl might be the easiest of Uchawi's band to date, or even just to hang out with. As a long-lived explorer, he's warm, open-minded, curious, and enthusiastic about life. He's also unapologetically honest, however, especially when it comes to craftsmanship. Bear that in mind when you select your venue.
One point to consider is that the dwarves of Talamh are crafted beings, created by the Underking, and do not reproduce sexually. While the game never once suggests that Karl is averse to sexual contact, you should be prepared for something non-human under his clothes. Given how good he is with his hands, though, I'm not sure if that matters. And if you're ace, he's probably pretty compatible with you too.
Go someplace with nice food and warm atmosphere, and you're certain to have a good time. Order drinks, get comfortable, and settle into a long, interesting conversation. Wherever it goes, it'll be worth your while.
Cider is not for the faint of heart. To date them, you need an appetite for adventure, spontaneity, and a little debauchery. You'll also need to be sensitive, though, because they carry a lot of trauma with them. Be prepared to give them space as needed, and to accommodate their plurality as it manifests.
If you can meet all those criteria, though, you're bound to have a wild time. You'll laugh so much, and end the night with a bunch of stories to tell. Oh, and unlike Galandra and her eldritch arm, Cider will almost certainly use their combat prosthetic for kinky stuff, if you're lucky.
Prepare for a date to remember—but make sure that you have the stamina for it.
Brome is a very serious, sincere person, so you should approach your date with intentionality and purpose. Be thoughtful, be sensitive, be present. It will also help if you're a little bit autistic.
Above all, be open and appreciative to Mowlai culture; loving Brome means loving his people too.
There's much joy in that experience, though, if you're open to it. You'll also meet his wonderful little children—and if you can care for them and play with them, he'll be quite taken with you. His kids are adorable little froggy cherubs, so it's hard not to love them.
Have a day at the lake together, swim with the babies, and be prepared to skip the pleasantries for deep, meaningful conversation. (He's also pretty traumatized, more so than Cider, so tread lightly around certain topics, and be ready to comfort him at points.)
