Hi guys I’m back I’m so sorry I’ve been gone so long. It’s basically been a mixture of stress and anxiety, but I’m committed to being back for good! Hopefully everyone likes these notes that I’ve been doing for my exams coming up. I had business today, and I have my history one tomorrow 😫

Hi there everyone! So I guess today is my first ever Tips post. I can’t exactly promise that it will be perfect, so please feel free to let me know what you’d like to see in future posts. Today we are going to be tackling the ever confusing English Essay, which hopefully may become a tad easier for some of you with this post!

I’ve basically split the whole post up into three sections: class notes, condensed revision notes and practice essay and modification.

I take my class notes on my computer, and then print them out and highlight as you can see. By taking this large volume of notes I am able to gain a deep understanding of the text.

Next, I condense all of the class notes into no more than 2 pages of handwritten notes as above. These do not need to be pretty by any means, so long as you are able to look at a glance at all the necessary information for your Essay.

Finally, I write a practice essay. I’m always surprised at how many people don’t write practice essays, mainly because they are SO SO SO helpful to be able to write a high-quality essay in a stressful exam condition. Once I’ve written my essay, I go through and make critical comments on the writing, so I am aware of what pressure points I need to focus on going into the exam.

Where has brontestudiess gone?

Hi everyone, long time no see! You might have noticed that I haven’t been posting any original content lately, and there is sort of a reason why even though it’s a bit piddly!

Basically I’ve been travelling for the past month and a half all around Thailand and Singapore. It’s been by far the most amazing trip of my life, and I’m so grateful to have gotten the opportunity to travel to all these amazing places with my friends. It also meant that I dragged them along to countless stationary stores against their will.

I’ll be posting a little something tomorrow about all the pens and what not I bought while I was away, so if you’d like keep an eye out for that!

Hey everyone! So sorry it's been so long, but I'm back! I've been super busy getting notes ready for the 6 exams I have in the next week. Giving myself the night off tonight, heard good things about the Bold Type, so I think I might start watching that tonight. Please let me know if you have any tv show or book recommendations, I'd love to hear them! Here's a really rough mind map I worked on today for history!

I’m super excited to be starting my own studyblr finally, with the convincing of a couple of friends who run accounts. My name on here is Bronte (although this is my middle name in real life), and I am a 16-year-old student from New Zealand.
