Response to FNGR video: The brony war and my gift on why it exist as well as talking about the analyst have damage the fandom?

Well hello there everybody, this is Marcos here and ya I am calling myself my name on that since today, I’m gonna do a response to a video that what posted not too long ago or maybe longer depending when this will come out. The video in question would be this. This video it talk about a certain thing that happen within the fandom and how it handily opinions as of late. This will also go to adding on the question that Tommy ask has well on his video on is analysts is damaging the fandom. Now these two videos I group them together because they both have said the same question only in different perspective. So lets go and see what I could add on this.

Ok now In FGNR’s Video, he talked about the certain drama that happen with how the fandom is handling on opinions mostly on Miss anthro Pinky and Joshscorcher. Here he talk about the events that happen that leads to this. If you want to know rather to have listen to the video, Anthro Pinky has made a rant series talking about what he thinks about certain reviewers and how they horrible handle in reviewing and praising the ones that do which lead to mix results. Josh scorcher had a argument with Tommy on his season 5 opener video and that led to some bruises as well. This is where it leads to if analysis have damage the fandom as this is what Tommy have said before. Every since the starting of the analysts community, it has become a blessing and a curse that people have when they first started to enter in and begin to talk about the show on a deeper level. Its something that I feel is the strength of how MLP is when it comes to the fans. I mean have you ever heard of this kind of level before when the show started? But however this came down with a curse on how serous on can take with the show. FNGR mention on how this seems to getting out of hand do to the fact that when someone mention they dislike something, its always seems be looked down upon. Heck its not the first that someone mention this. Past analysis which I talk to a lot from time to time have mention how this an issue because of deep thought have been push to the offensive area’s if those thoughts happen to be in the negative side which result to some people holding back on what their thoughts are.

This brings me to Tommy’s video where he mention that one of the best parts about the show is how you feel very positive being around the fandom and how certain episode give you a good feeling which helps you escape from the shit you have to deal with. Unfortionly this is where I feel the fans sorta has this force fork in the road of how they deal with seeing negativity within their own fandom rather then just accepting that everybody has different view point. Oh I know that its not unearned that we deal with people who said the show sucks because of trivial things like Faust leaving or how alicorn twilight is a mary sue when there is no evidence to show that. But however what about the people who judge it on what the show did and said that in their opinion that its kinda a flaw do to how its structure and all that? This is something I ask mostly because of how people seem to try to ignore this when they encounter these opinions. However this leads to a problem that I think stems on how reviewers and analyzers have which I am starting to notice the more I see these new people coming in to the community and not notice one thing that is important....Presentation! Seriously do many of these people not know what this is!? Have this been like a extinct word that is never heard? This really annoys me do to the fact that for the most part, most of these analyzers that are coming in probily think that they can say what ever they want and expect people to take it. Now before anybody comes in and tries to expose me for doing this and me being a hypocrite if you find this video, I am at fault at this too and I not afraid to admit that my videos could go a little better then it should have. You see when it comes to presenting your points, it seems to be like a hard thing to do when you try to explain and offer something. But that is not the major problem here as the real problem I have been seeing with reviewers is how they show it threw their emotions and how they detail the flaws as hand.

Let me break it down. When it comes to multiple people, everybody will have a different way of looking at something. So its up to them to give a very good reason why they like and dislike certain things regarding to the product in question. How we feel about the product is where I think a lot of people tend to be on how they start stating something. Now its not a bad thing to tell how you feel about this but when you let that be how you make your point. That is where I feel the problem lies. This can really lead to some being close minded or not letting other people speak because of it. I have seen this happen to a lot people including some that I know off. Now you can say that Golden fox has this but however to him, he at least manage to speak very clear despite the rage he has shown threw some of his videos. When it comes to giving an opinion, some people might not like it when you yell at them but however at the same time, it could be necessary. Sometimes its best to be blunt in order for people to understand. Problem really only arise when you see if the person who is presenting the point to have at least some knowledge of what your talking about. When you look up a product and break it down on what it is, the most important part is to know what its doing and how it succeed or fails on what its trying to do. This is a tricky thing to do because you have take into account of what its offering and how much is it going be. However this can lead to a huge trap of over thinking it. I couldn't believe how this has became a problem when new people come in. Ether they take one thing and starts to think of all these theories and try to say this is deep when really its just ether a throw away or not important to the story or the world that the story is build on, or they say its worst thing besides the Devil coming in and cause the rapture. This is not good presentation at all because it always leads to very lackluster content. When you don’t makes things clear or saw these flaws are horrible despite the obvious of how its not as bad as they made it out to be. Which is why i think my video on Green isn't your color is the best example for this. I honestly think that video could of gone a lot better and while I have said what I wanted to say but I feel my presentation was just really lacking. To this day I still cringe watching that video and it was at a time where I feel I have failed myself as a reviewer. Presentation is something I wish I get fully back then and that is not to say the other videos are the same but the rest I feel I can do better. Its kinda why its always important to focus on this. You can have the greatest way to introduce your stuff and lead your audience to something that could open discussions and things you ever want. But if you present it in the most miss guided and emotional way as possible, then your gonna loose a lot of interest to your video or get comments of people calling you out when you didn't gave the product a chance.

But lets move on to the audience as they are not at innocent here. You see it seems the people who watch most of these videos ether think they gonna say the same things they think or have their products be known as the greatest thing every when really its just ignoring what the videos for most of them are about. The audience right now for the MLP fandom is a problem that has been surfacing since season 3 came in. Left and right I hear people for the most part saying that the community has become way to negative for its own good and how they are not bronies anymore and just like to say it because they feel they are always right. Now once in a while I can see why as most of them do only do that just for the sake of having a negative opinion but I ask this. What are they saying that makes you think they are just doing it for the sake of saying something negative? That right there is the question. This is something I have to ask myself when I made the same mistakes. Ya I kinda fall into this as well if you seen Anthony video. This raise another awareness that the audience have when watching analyses video is that they just want their ideals to be confirm by people they like on youtube or any other site that allows blog like material. But when they start saying something else that does not fit their ideals, they go ape shit about it. Now this could be the same for both ways whether your positive or negative but I think the people who hates the negative seems to speak out the loudest. This kinda lead to most not showing any support to people who have some good thought and point that a user could bring. The most notable example would be Digibro and Tommy oliver. Now let me get this clear, I don’t like there content as much as the next person but however I feel that their hatred is kinda overplayed. Yes they have problems but them being negative is hardly a justification at least to an extent. Yes it may be a bit too much but however at the end of the day, they are just expressing their opinions. Sure there might be something that does get annoying when you hear them speak but at the same time, why must you let it affect you and yes I fall into this as well so this also affects me. When the people are surrounded with a lot of postivity, that only makes it harder for them to see what flaws the product have. This is why the analyzing community came and be recognize for what it does. There are people out there who are willing to look a closer thought and dissect the show to see how it works and this is something that people should know about because we are all not the same when it comes to thinking about it. Having something that challenge’s your way of thinking is a good thing because it can help you in the long run. I have debated with many other analyst and reviewers to be exact and for the most part, all of them have there own standards on what they see the show do and for the most part, they are able to handle on their own without resorting to rely one someone else or at least have the bases of their are thinking. The best part is that most are accepting on how another could see it. Its different perspectives that allows us to grow and mature as we go along. Yes I will point out that not everything the analysis community is all perfect. There are people are there who do think being a snob and yell in front of your mic or camera is enough to make you seem intelligent. There are people who think buzz words will help threw making your point. There are people who thinks that sucking up and agreeing to the rest of crowd is a way to get famous very quickly. I feel that the audience has been spending way too much time on thinking their show is perfect and should never be criticize. Sorry to say folks but the show wasn’t even perfect at all at least not that I remember. If there is one thing we must show our support for this, we must not only support the show but also call it out when it does something questionable. That is why the analyzing community is unique because most of the user I have met will give the praise and harsh punishment of what the show will deserve. There is nothing wrong with that and I’m not saying to excuse every critique for now on but I ask you this. You go in and when you debate, be as calm as well as respective to the other person so you can see how different the views point and you might learn something which is something I think is the most important value that you can get and that is saying something considering this is the internet here. People need a push and sometimes that is needed for you to evolve. Just make sure you don’t wait your time on people who are the opposite of this.
