Zoro wanted to get Luffy a coat that he would wear on winter islands that was special, especially because when he did but something, it would mean a lot. When Ziro finally did give the coat to Luffy, Luffy had Zoro wear it for a while. After all, when Luffy had it on, he'd be warm and it would smell like Zoro. So it would almost be like getting a hug from his first mate when he wasn't there to do it in person. That idea just wouldn't leave me alone until I had it written down.
