My parents and my little sister is coming down to LA to celebrate Christmas with me this year, and not the other way around, and honestly, I just want to make it the best one yet for them but I gotta admit, it’s kinda hard to get into the Christmas spirit when there’s not actually any real snow around, you know? I know I might be a little biased and shit, coming from Arizona, as we often get to have a white Christmas, but...” Benjamin shook his head and laughed, waving his hands around frantically, “anyway, got any good suggestions for what I can do to make it as awesome as humanly possible? At least for my little sister. I haven’t even bought the Christmas tree yet nor any of the decorations that I need, and honestly, I’m freaking out a little bit.”

“---soo, what do you say about us going christmas shopping?” the small brunette showed a smile as she looked at the other. she felt like she was one of the few who didn't bother putting up her christmas decorations yet and she figured now was the time to do so considering she had a few days off before going back to work. plus, she did have to consider about buying presents for family and friends too, so might as well kill two birds with one stone; buy decorations along with gifts.

❝ the um- bears are easier to feed with the hat on. ❞ a rather peculiar statement. but what was she supposed to do? not EXPLAIN why she was wearing a ridiculous hat? yes, probably. that probably what she was supposed to do. but she couldn’t take the judgemental orbs of every person she walked past. and she did explain to the L A T E S T   person who looked at her.

A SPLITTING HEADACHE . she's spent the previous night  ..  well , she doesn’t quite remember at this point . a few blurred memories and then it all goes black . and sure it was her friend’s birthday but hey , it was a CELEBRATION !  “  shhhh . ” she sticks out her finger across the table at cozy brunch spot ; was the other even talking ?! designer label sunglasses rest upon bridge of her nose , bloodshot eyes peering over black brim . “ does this place sell alcohol ? even a fuckin’ mimosa would work at this point . ” combatting a hangover with more alcohol , very sensible reyna , good choice !

GINNY LOOKED DOWN AT THE COFFEES IN HER TRAY. she had no idea which person they were meant to go to. “oh fuck,” she muttered under a breath. “if anyone ordered a coffee, you can get it form the counter.” she yelled from behind the counter, her english accent bouncing off the walls.

“you know what i hate?” the redhead asks rhetorically while she scoops another spoonful of ice cream (chocolate mousse royale -- it isn’t her first choice, but she likes to branch out when she can) to savor. honestly, sam could eat ice cream everyday without ever getting tired of it, which was beside the point. “there’s this flavour in baskin-robbins and they named it baseball nut. and i still don’t get why. i mean, it doesn’t have anything to do with baseball, as i know of,” she pointedly says the last part, “i’ll give them the nut part, cause it does actually have cashews, but still. and raspberry swirl sucks and i just hate it.”

She sighed, as she perused the homework assignments she’d been handed back. It was obvious to her who had done their homework and those of whom had parents that felt the need to coddle their children. In such cases, she gave the assignments a passing grade. It wasn’t the child’s fault their parents were dunderheads, and she wasn’t about to punish them for it. She picked up her coffee and took a generous swallow of the caffeinated goodness with a thoughtful frown.
